Jessica has over 26 years experience in early childhood education.  While working at home teaching children, she also managed Boston Market at the young age of 18.  Jessica's parents opened and operated, Learning Junction, in 2000.  Jessica started working there in 2002.  Teaching for all types of age groups throughout her career, Jessica then became Supervisor of The Learning Junction.  She learned the ins and outs of childcare, State requirements and facility management.  After 15 years, he and her husband, Matthew opened Harbor Learning Center, Sewaren,  in 2013.  In 2015, Harbor Learning Center 2, Edison, was purchased.  In 2016, she purchased and became owner of The Learning Junction after her parents retired.  Still going strong today, children are her best interest at heart.  Her responsibility lies with creating the policies and procedures the directors carry out to run her early childhood education facilities.

Jessica

" I have been working in the early childhood education field for over 25 years.  My husband and I take pride in our accomplishments that we have worked very hard to achieve.  Running the daycare centers, my goal is for children to be well prepared for public school and to bring out the best they could be.  We want every parent to feel comfort and create a partnership with us that will last a lifetime.  Our teachers and assistants are strong and are always looking for ways to grow."                 - Jessica Rizitis

Our Teachers and Assistants

Daycare providers, preschool teachers and Teachers Assistants all play a cooperative role in educating our children.  Teachers of our classes from 18 months to 6 years are responsible for nurturing your children with love and filling their heads with knowledge.  They are professional caring educators who work together to manage their classrooms and  effectively communicate with children coworkers and parents.  Teachers build a relationship nd set forth their daily plan with their assistant (Co-Teacher) which builds strong and clear direction in their classroom.  Our school attends in house seminars as well as 1 outsourced seminar to build on our knowledge for our lesson plans, effectively communicate, stay informed about safety and emergency planning and much more.
Infant Caregivers are for children 6 weeks to 18 months.  Our infant caregivers are loving and understand the development milestones that babies should meet.  Our caregivers are responsible for feeding, changing, playing and caring for infants.
