Every child can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way
Infants (6 weeks to 18 months)
Harbor Learning Center schools take pride to ensure our infants are cared for daily in the most professional and loving way. Our caregivers communicate with parents about the milestones their infant has made. Our program consists of feeding, diapering, tummy time, songs, visuals, and small challenges to help children in crawling, walking, and fine motor.
Pre-Tottler Class (18 months to 2 1/2 yrs)
Our Pre-tottler program is the introductory on self awareness. Our program is designed to guide children to independency. Our teachers guide children to be self feeders, learn to share and be with other friends, use words to communicate, use visuals for learning, and build their attention span. Every moment in this classroom is a learning moment. Our teachers set out to be great examples and role models for the children. The pre-tottler class program consists of circletime, art, music, story, station time, language, fine motor skills, large motor skills, outdoor play and simple math. Our program is created in house by our administration and is evaluated yearly to keep up with the latest learning styles in early childhood education.
3 year old Class (3 yrs to 4 yrs)
Our 3 year old classroom program is designed to continue a structured schedule. The 3 year old class program is designed to prepare children for their next academic step by learning to sit for a lesson, listen to instruction and work to their best ability. Our program will challenge the children's knowledge by offering many different ways to teach the same subject. Teachers will teach to compliment all learning styles so each and every child has an opportunity to learn the lesson to their absolute best ability. Our students are taught to work together, use manners and have simple jobs in the classroom that will teach them self awareness and responsibility. The program consists of circletime, art, writing, language, simple math, music, story, science, me and my world, visual learning, physical activity, outdoor play, station time, manipulatives, and STEM activities
Pre K Class (4 yrs to 5 yrs)
Our Pre K classroom program is designed to prepare the children for public school. Our program will challenge the children's knowledge by presenting the children with many different ways to learn the same subject. As an added bonus to all of our curriculum subjects, our teachers encourage the creative side of the students by having them work together to construct a large project festive to the month or season. The Pre-K program consists of circletime, art, writing, language, simple math, music, story, science, sight words, me and my world, visual learning, physical activity, outdoor play, station time, manipulatives, and STEM activities.
